Your life matters.

If you’re asking big questions about your
life and purpose, you’re not alone.

Find others on campus who are searching, too.

This is Real.

It’s easy to feel like nothing matters.

People let us down. It seems hard to get ahead . . . or even care sometimes.

The world seems like it’s falling apart, but we don’t have to fall apart with it.

You’re not alone.

All of us are asking the big questions:

  • What am I going to do with my life?

  • How can I find happiness/love?

  • Is there more to life?

We are all going through this together. Relationships. School. Anxiety. Fear. Loneliness. Overwhelm. Confusion.

At the Newman Center, we make space for all of life’s important questions. It’s a faith community of college students for college students.

We’ve found life and purpose in faith.

If that seems out of reach for you, we get it.

You don’t have to think, believe, or act any specific way to matter.

You matter because you are human.

You matter because . . .

You. Are. Here.

For us....

At the newman center, students:

You Are Here is a way of thinking about life - an acknowledgement that our lives matter and things can get better. It was born out of The JPII Newman Center in Omaha - a Catholic student center near UNO.

Whether you want to ask a priest difficult questions, grab a slice of pizza with other students, or find a quiet place to reflect, we would love to meet you.
